CNC Setup Technician - Career Growth Potential

Nesco Resource is looking for a CNC Setup Technician located in Watertown, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Overview:
Seeking a skilled CNC Setup Technician to operate CNC machines, ensuring precision in manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, setting up machines, and maintaining quality standards.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM.

Pay: $22-$24 Depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Set up and operate CNC machines.
• Program machines using G-code and CAD/CAM software.
• Monitor operations and make adjustments for quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Proven experience in CNC machining.
• Experience with Mazak Machines.
• Ability to use Micrometers.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and programming.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures.
