Job Title: CNC Setup/Operator / 1st Shift

Location: Leading Edge Hydraulics, Rockford, IL

Job Description:

 Leading Edge Hydraulics is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced CNC Setup/Operator to join our team in Rockford, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and/or with a team. 

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper setup and alignment

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements

- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines

- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency

- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications

- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC setup and operation

- Knowledge of hydraulics systems and components

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- And any other assigned duties.
