Eaton\u2019s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a CNC2 Machine Operator - 2nd shift. The core hours of the position are 2:30pm to 10:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $19.05 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Perform a variety of machining operations using single or multi-spindle drill press and/or tapping machines on various castings and parts.\n * Duties include positioning parts into chucks, fixtures, or loading machines; moving selector levers for prescribed speeds; initiating machine cycle, removing machined part and check work.\n * Work involves highly repetitive machine operations such as drilling, milling, tapping, reaming, boring, facing, threading, counterboring, etc.\n * Check work with fixed gauges at prescribed intervals. \n * Detect and report faulty machine operations, defective material, and unusual cases to proper supervision.\n * Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.\n * Follow prescribed or standard safety regulations.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic (Required) Qualifications: \n\n * A minimum of three (3) months minimum working in a manufacturing environment. \n * No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered for this position.\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
