CNS-Cardiology/Cardiothoracic Surgery

§ Type of degree: Nursing § Area of study or major: Advanced Practice Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience o Two references from APRN's in the clinical or educational settings o Reference of collaborating physician IF they have been in this role o PHP Standard Care Arrangement prior to engaging in practice o Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor § License to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio § Valid license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio § Current CPR certification required at the time of hire § National Certification as an Advance Practice Nurse as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Preferred experience: Three to five years of APRN experience, prior cardiac experience preferred Other experience requirements: Prior experience in program management, data, analysis and performance improvement preferred
