Coach Across America Alumni Engagement and Recruitment VISTA

Coach Across America is a nonprofit making sure every kid has a coach who believes in them—and helps them believe in themselves. Coach Across America is the first national service program to identify and train young adults to coach and mentor kids in low-income communities. We also offer capacity based positions to help support and grow Sports Based Youth Development (SBYD) programs nationwide. As the Alumni Engagement and Recruitment Coordinator VISTA, supporting the Assistant National Directors of Career Readiness and Coach programs, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of our alumni engagement strategy. You will also take the lead in the creation of successful recruitment strategies within current and emerging initiatives, that will be replicated across all of our markets. During this time you will have the opportunity to expand your network, attend career readiness events and have the ability to participate in a unique fellowship program to support your successful entry into the workplace post service.

Member Duties : The 2025-2026 VISTA at Coach Across America, based in Baltimore, will be part the cohort of 73. The CAA VISTA placed at Coach Across America will design and implement multiple strategies to increase alumni engagement, as well as creating systems and processes to support the recruitment of coaches across CAA markets. Responsibilities will include: Design and curation of an alumni engagement experience to improve alumni participation with Coach Across America. Increasing career readiness support to alumni of Coach Across America post service. Creating a strong and focused coach recruitment plan for new and existing CAA coaches markets for coaching staff to implement. Increasing meaningful opportunities for women and girls in sport by growing our She Changes The Game initiative.
