Coach Across America Ambassador- Volunteerer

About Coach Across America

Founded in 2010, Coach Across America is a national nonprofit organization that is focused on the power of coaches to transform the lives of our nation’s most vulnerable youth, and the communities they live in, through sports. Coach Across America is based on a simple premise: That highly trained coaches can be among the most transformative adults in young people’s lives and inspire their success on the field, in the classroom, and in life.

Role Overview:

Coach Across America (CAA) is seeking CAA Ambassadors – current or former athletes, coaches, sports/business leaders, sports psychology professionals, and sport/exercise educators – to expand the visibility, resources, and impact of CAA’s sports-based youth mentoring programs in under-resourced communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate: Serve as a spokesperson, co-create social media content, and lead local advocacy campaigns to highlight the need for coach-mentors.

• Share Your Story: Author blog posts, participate in digital campaigns, and lead efforts for CAA’s annual #ThanksCoach campaign.

• Engage: Attend CAA trainings and partner events; lead webinars on topics like mental health in sports, gender equity, and youth development.

• Open Doors: Facilitate introductions to corporate and foundation partners, host fundraising events, and lead peer-to-peer fundraising efforts.

Program Benefits:

• National Visibility: Recognition across CAA’s digital platforms, website, and promotional media.

• Exclusive Network: Connection to a powerful network of sports executives, elite coaches, educators, and community leaders.

• Featured Recognition: Opportunities to publish content, participate in panel discussions, and highlight your advocacy.

• Measurable Impact: Opportunity to drive meaningful change for youth nationwide.
