Description

The Mayflower Park Hotel, Seattle's oldest continuously operating hotel, is seeking a Cocktail Server. We are looking for an energetic, motivated for our iconic Bar & Lounge.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass background screening
• Positive attitude
• Extensive knowledge of wine & spirits
• Flexibility in schedule (20+ hours/week)
• Sun, Mon & Tue

Located off the grand lobby of the historic Mayflower Park Hotel, Oliver's Lounge opened in 1976 as Washington State's first daylight bar. Home of the renowned "International Martini Classic Challenge," Oliver's has won titles for Best Specialty Martini, Best International Classic Martini, and Seattle's "Best Classic".

Requirements

A bit about you....

Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of equivalent restaurant and bar experience as well as the desire to learn and grow their career in hospitality. We are seeking individuals who are self-motivated, friendly, and quick on their feet. Flexibility in scheduling, including holidays is preferable. You must also demonstrate an unwavering commitment to providing each of our guests with an over-the-top, memorable experience always.

The ideal candidate must possess the following traits:

- Excellent knowledge of service etiquette and hospitality

- Must have an eye for detail and a well-disciplined work ethic

- Must be gracious and patient with both team members and guests

- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

- Knowledge of food, wine and spirits for the cocktail server position is required.
