Job Description - Cocktail Server


  • Take drink and food orders and deliver them promptly and accurately
  • Know the drink and food menus well enough to answer questions and make recommendations
  • Greet members by name and keep an eye on your section so nobody waits
  • Charge orders to the correct member account through the POS
  • Maintain and follow up with members throughout their experience
  • Set up and break down service areas, indoors and out
  • Keep tables, trays, and service stations clean and stocked
  • Work club events like golf outings, weddings, holiday parties, and pool season
  • Check IDs and serve responsibly under state alcohol laws

Requirements

 

  • Serving experience in a restaurant, bar, hotel, or club is preferred
  • Alcohol server certification, or willing to get one within 30 days of hire
  • Comfortable with POS systems and billing 
  • Friendly, dependable, and calm during a rush
  • Available nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Able to work outdoors in heat, sun, and changing weather
  • Able to stand and walk for long shifts and carry loaded trays
  • Must be 18+ for this position 

Salary Description

$8/hr + Service Charge & Tips
