We're looking for a Coffee Machine Technician who is mechanically inclined, enjoys troubleshooting, and takes pride in keeping our coffee equipment operating at its best. What You'll Do

As our Coffee Machine Technician, you'll play an essential role in maintaining the equipment that keeps our cafés and production facilities running smoothly. Your work will directly impact the quality and consistency of every cup we serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose, service, and repair espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment


• Install new equipment and ensure proper setup and calibration


• Perform preventative maintenance according to scheduled service intervals


• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation


• Communicate effectively with café and production teams to resolve equipment issues quickly


• Train team members on proper equipment care and basic troubleshooting


• Maintain inventory of tools, replacement parts, and service supplies


• Travel to local Kuppa Joy cafés and facilities as needed

What Will Help You Succeed

• 1–2 years of experience in equipment repair or maintenance (coffee equipment, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, plumbing, or similar mechanical field)


• Familiarity with commercial coffee equipment such as La Marzocco, Mazzer, Curtis, Bunn, or similar brands is preferred


• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills


• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 80 pounds


• Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces


• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
  

Schedule & Compensation

• Part Time / Full Time


• Weekend availability may be required depending on café hours and service needs


• Pay: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience


• Company tools and equipment provided


• Mileage reimbursement for approved service calls
