Responsibilities
Collects library materials from return receptacles.
Returns materials using the Integrated Library System (Alma), organizes all library materials for shelving, and shelves all library materials in appropriate areas.
Tasks also include searching for books, processing (checking books in or out), and managing Curbside and Hold Requests.
Maintains library shelving and collections through shifting (physically moving collections of books), weeding, and shelf-reading projects.
Provides a friendly and knowledgeable level of service to all library staff and patrons, and assist in any additional projects or tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
May assist with campus deliveries through the LEDS department.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
