We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collection Analyst to join our dynamic business finance team in the Americas region, based in Asunción, Paraguay.

Job Overview

The Collection Analyst will be responsible for supporting the credit and collections process by analyzing clients financial and credit information to assess risk, managing the accounts receivable portfolio for all countries in the Americas, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role will coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues, maintain accurate customer records, and prepare reports to support decision-making, while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze customers financial and credit information to assess credit risk.
• Monitor and manage the accounts receivable portfolio, following up on payment plans and overdue invoices.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve disputes and ensure correct payment application.
• Prepare credit, collections, and forecast reports.
• Maintain up-to-date customer information in corporate systems.
• Assist in preparing documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
• Stay up to date on regional financial regulations and ensure all credit and collection activities comply with local laws.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize credit and collection workflows.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in credit and collection process mainly in multinational companies.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly desirable.
• Location: Must be based in Asunción, Paraguay.
