Harding Bell International, Inc. is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the Finance Department at our central Florida office located in Auburndale. Our firm provides an excellent opportunity in a growing international and domestic tax practice for experienced professionals. As we continue expand and grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help with our ever-increasing finance needs. Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will be:
- Primary roles
- To contact clients by telephone followed by email for collection of outstanding accounts
- Prepare and mail collection letters to clients and determine next process
- First response to pick up calls in department line
- Review & update database information to determine follow-up with clients and staff members
- Scanning and recording accounts payable receipts
- Secondary roles
- Accounts receivable/accounts payable – preparing invoices when required
- Processing credit card and check payments within QuickBooks when required
- Assist Team Lead with preparation of daily departmental reports when required
- Adhere to the firm's written tax practice standards
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have:
- 1 year QuickBooks
- High level skills in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Excellent communication skills, including a professional telephone manner, must be a team player
- Good administrative and organizational skills, must be detail-oriented
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
- Preferred but not required, secondary language
- Salary commensurate with experience
