Collections Associate

Hercules First Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a talented individual to join our collections department.  This is a career position opportunity with a growing credit union.

This person will work with our membership and perform all collections and recovery efforts to find and negotiate repayment solutions on delinquent accounts and take additional collections actions when necessary.

Job Duties:

• Review and monitor delinquent accounts daily.


• Contact the borrowers to arrange adequate repayment terms.


• Properly and accurately document all collections activities.


• Assist branches and other departments as required by business needs.


• Maintain a positive attitude and environment throughout the organization.


• Ensure compliance with Hercules’ internal policies, as well as all federal and state regulations.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Education:

• High school degree or equivalent.


• Exceptional customer service skills.


• Outstanding phone and negotiation skills.


• Spanish speaking.

Preferred Experience:

• Collections Experience.


• Credit union experience highly preferred.
