In this role, you will lead and develop the credit and collections team within a global service framework. Your expertise will be vital as you collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance financial strategies and processes, ensuring efficient cash collection and management. You will identify opportunities for improvement across global operations, fostering a customer-centric approach that supports company goals and strengthens relationships with clients. Accountabilities
- Lead and develop the credit and collections team within a global service framework.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review strategic customer and partner accounts quarterly, focusing on financial implications.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in collections and customer service.
- Ensure effective cash collection and account management for all global regions.
- Establish team goals and monitor performance against credit and collections targets (KPIs).
- Establish and enforce credit policies and procedures.
- Foster a customer-centric approach and maintain strong working relationships across teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Credit and Collections.
- At least 3 years of experience managing people in a global or shared service setting.
- Experience with technology companies and/or SaaS.
- Familiarity with Gemini AI or Chat GPT.
- Previous experience with online collections tools (i.e. High Radius, Versapay, GetPaid, Tesorio).
- Solid knowledge of customer intake ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Netsuite, Oracle or SAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when working with senior management.
