We're currently seeking to hire a Collections Specialist to join our team in San Jose, CA!    

About the Role: We’re looking for a seasoned Collections Representative who can confidently go after overdue accounts with a tenacious persistence while maintaining a polished and professional bedside manner. You should be equally comfortable picking up the phone for tough conversations as you are sending tactful, well-worded follow-ups. Your goal: reduce delinquency while preserving customer relationships. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Aggressively pursue overdue payments while maintaining respect and professionalism
• Manage daily collections activities across multiple platforms
• Document and track communications in a detailed and organized manner
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account disputes
• Provide account analysis and aging reports as needed
• Recommend accounts for escalation or legal action when necessary

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial collections or credit control
• Assertive, confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills
• Strong customer service instinct with a diplomatic touch
• Proficiency in Sage 50, QuickBooks Enterprise, Microsoft Dynamics SL 2015, and Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Must have the ability to be tech-savvy and understand software (ie, MS Office Suite with a particular proficiency in Excel and e-mail etiquette)
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
