College Intern- Marketing - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Job Summary:

The College Intern – Marketing will support the Marketing Department with a wide range of activities and events.

This is a short-term internship for Summer 2024. It is 30 hours a week, from 8 AM to 4 PM or until the hours are completed.

This internship is on-site.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
• Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint); ability to produce information in spreadsheets, documents, forms, tables, and presentations. MS Visio, Access, and Project a plus
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional skills in customer service
• Strong organization skills, detailed-oriented, and ability to work on multiple projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and customers (internal and external)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Functions:

• Assists with the coordination of various Marketing activities, events, and initiatives
• Assists with analyzing existing processes with focus on identifying gaps, nonvalue added steps, and other impediments to efficient operation
• Tests new improvement Marketing programs and materials. Revises existing materials through feedback and updates
• Helps organize cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
• Helps maintain and revise project plans for large cross-functional
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
• Performs other duties as assigned
