The Opportunity:

The Gary E. West College of Business at West Liberty University is seeking a qualified full time, faculty position. 

We seek a colleague who is team oriented and willing to assist the West College of Business in enhancing the reach and reputation of its business programs.  Candidates should have a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.

Responsibilities: 

• Teaching assigned course load (4/4 load)


• Student advisement


• Curriculum development


• Student Recruitment


• Assist in the placement and advisement of student internships.

Education & Experience Requirements: 

• Master’s degree in business or business related field, with 18 graduate credit hours in computer information systems required


• Experience teaching at the college level required


• or ABD business or a business related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline preferred.


• Experience advising students preferred.


• Experience teaching both in person and online preferred.


• Prior professional experience preferred


• Candidates credentialed in computer information systems, cybersecurity, management, and marketing preferred.

Skills/Abilities: 

• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills


• Experience leading and managing others in an academic setting through transparency and collaboration.
