College Support Tutor for Student with Autism & Dyslexia

About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Norco, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Norco, CA
• Schedule: 3 sessions for 2 hours each
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Ideal Candidate:

• Encouraging and consistent, with a talent for building trust and motivation
• Structured but not rigid—able to shift strategies based on the student’s needs in the moment
• Enjoys working with neurodiverse learners and understands how to reduce cognitive overload
• Comfortable supporting both academic content and organizational skills across multiple subjects

Key Responsibilities:

• Male tutor strongly preferred (per family request)
• Experience working with students with autism and dyslexia at the high school or college level
• Background in math, English, science, or engineering/technical subjects (SolidWorks experience a plus)
• Familiarity with executive functioning strategies and coaching techniques
• Patient, calm, and flexible instructional style with the ability to adapt based on student mood and engagement
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative teaching approach
