Calibration Technician / Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Calibration Technician/Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for performing precise diagnostics, repairs, and calibrations of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and other vehicle components after bodywork or collision repair. You will ensure all systems function properly and meet manufacturer specifications for safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ADAS calibrations (cameras, radars, sensors, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, etc.) following OEM procedures

• Diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical systems related to vehicle safety and drivability

• Operate diagnostic scan tools, OEM software, and calibration equipment

• Perform pre- and post-repair scans and document results for insurance and customer records

• Collaborate with body and paint technicians to ensure proper repair sequencing

 • Maintain detailed records of calibrations, test results, and completed work

• Research and follow updated OEM calibration requirements and bulletins

• Ensure all work meets industry safety and quality standards

• Support continuous improvement in shop processes and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (collision experience a plus)

• Experience with ADAS calibration and automotive diagnostic equipment

• Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and safety systems

• ASE certifications or I-CAR training preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
