Collision Director – Oakes Auto Group

Oakes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Collision Director to oversee the daily operations of our collision center. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring high-quality repairs, and maximizing profitability while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the collision center, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.


• Develop and implement business strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.


• Lead, train, and manage technicians, estimators, and administrative staff to achieve performance goals.


• Ensure compliance with insurance company guidelines, OEM repair procedures, and safety regulations.


• Control expenses, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, while maximizing profitability.


• Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies, vendors, and parts suppliers.


• Improve cycle times and repair quality through process optimization and continuous improvements.


• Handle customer escalations and maintain a high level of service and satisfaction.


• Monitor and enforce company policies, safety standards, and local/state regulations.


• Utilize management software to track repair progress, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in collision repair management or a related field.


• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.


• Proficiency with insurance processes, estimating software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, etc.), and OEM repair procedures.


• Experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and profit/loss analysis.


• Ability to manage a high-volume repair facility and improve operational efficiencies.


• Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.


• Experience managing DRP (Direct Repair Program) relationships.


• Rome Collision Management experience is a plus.
