Collision Center Truck Body & Trailer Repair Technician

American Fleet Services is seeking a self-starting, take-charge individual for our growing Collision Center Team. This driven individual will be responsible for truck & trailer box body repair.

Collision Center Truck Body & Trailer Body Repair Job Duties:

· Structural and cosmetic repairs to the overall interior & exterior of truck bodies & trailers to include:

o Corner caps

o Nose radius / rails

o Body side panels and posts

o Roof skins, roof bows, upper and lower body side rails

o Rear roll up and hinged door systems & frames

o Interior panels, scuff liners, etc

o Wood and composite floors, cross members, etc

o Light systems and wiring

· Structural welding; steel and aluminum

o AWS and or ICAR Weld Certifications a plus+

· Liftgate replacements & repairs

· Refrigeration unit removal and installation

· Routine PM and DOT inspections, etc

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess an upbeat, professional attitude. You must have the desire to work as part of a team to reach company objectives and the ambition to succeed and grow with the company. The role demands that you be a self-starter who works work well under minimal supervision after the initial training period. Additional qualifications include:

• 3+ years of experience

• Technician tools required

• Liftgate experience a plus

· Must have a Valid driver’s license with no more than two (2) minor driving violations within a three (3) year period; no more than a maximum of four (4) points and must be insurable with our current insurance provider.

• Ability to pass a background check.

This is an hourly based opportunity with no limit on earning potential. Our customer base is well established and within a well-groomed territory.
