Combo Pipe Welder

Position Summary:

Ability to fabricate, weld screw pipe, carbon steel sch 80 weld pipe, stainless steel sch 10 weld pipes; miter and fabricate all pipe; install valves; install underground pipe; install pipe hangers and supports when needed; minor valve maintenance and repair; oxygen and acetylene cutting at times; basic rigging; operation of pneumatic and electric tools.

Weld Test:

Job Duties:

•  3-5 years of welding in an industrial setting
• Previous stainless and carbon experience is a must
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, ISO’s, field installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications
• Good math skills
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Completed work should be neat in appearance and operate properly
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Requires mathematical and English language skills
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude
• Ability to perform high work volume with minimal errors and supervision
• Ability to communicate courteously and proactively with all levels within the company
• Must be proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable

• Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
