Command Light Shipper/Assembler

Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company is an established locally owned family business that manufactures fire equipment and emergency vehicles that help our communities to save lives. We are looking for an energetic, self-starting Shipper/Assembler to join our Command Light Division.

Command Light has helped emergency departments elevate their scene lighting for decades with an assortment of patented light towers and traffic advisors that help roadway responders illuminate nighttime scenes, keeping both the crew and our community safe. Essential Functions:

• Packaging and palletizing products


• Order fulfillment


• Provide Customer Service via phone and email


• Operate hand and power shop tools


• Read prints and production schedules


• Assemble mechanical parts of products


• Learn and apply valuable skills, and gain useful knowledge


• Must be able to follow directions and pay attention to detail


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing, shipping, or customer service preferred


• Proficient in Microsoft Office


• Able to contribute to a team atmosphere


• Able to meet deadlines


• Attention to details


• Clear communication


• Able to obtain forklift certification


• Must be able to lift 70+ pounds


• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist


• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test, and criminal background check

Compensation: $19 - $22/hour, DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Work Authorization: United States (Required)

Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
