Commercial Analyst

• Develop and maintain models focused on the North American natural gas and electricity markets
• Assess new data sources and modeling techniques
• Collaborate with coworkers to integrate their expertise into an overarching view of the larger market
• Present that view both internally to regional team heads and externally to certain clients
• Help with ad hoc questions and requests about specific elements of the gas or power market

• Bachelor’s degree, focus in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering preferred
• Completed internship in the Energy Industry preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and the rest of the Office suite
• Programming skills are preferred (languages: Python, R, VBA)
• Ability to communicate; listening to internal experts and presenting your own views
• Capability to upkeep long-term projects and shift to answering one off questions
• Ability to work in Spring, TX office at least 2 days per week
