Our client, a Japanese Energy company, is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their Renewable Energy Division in the Houston area.

Title: Commercial Analyst
Industry: Renewable Energy
Type: Full Time Direct Hire
Exempt Location: Houston TX
Salary: $82K-$90K

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience with business finance
3+ years of Financial modeling experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or statistics are highly preferred
FMVA certification preferred
Tax equity arrangement experience renewable energy project experience
Strong fluency with excel formulas and functions
Corporate PPA experience preferred

JOB DUTIES:

Manage and update (support valuation, planning and forecasting) financial model collaborating with related parties
Analyze market pricing and congestion forecasts
Prepare finance for projects and maintain communication with finance lenders
Prepare PPA proposals and PPA contracts
Support transaction of equity sell down of projects if necessary
