The Commercial Business Development Manager recruits, trains, develops and supports new and existing BDRs and Growth Specialists to ensure that they meet specific new business goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
Meet 1:1 with direct reports to provide coaching and give feedback.
Educating team on e-commerce best practices, demoing the platform, & removing barriers for them to activate new customers.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensures specific business goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Works cross functionally with teams outside of Sales, especially Marketing.
Defines pipeline goals.
Provides sales coaching to BDRs and/or Growth Specialists.
Monitors e-commerce market.
Assists with refining processes.
Implements feedback from other departments or external customers.
Drives system and process efforts in generating and closing new business.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
2+ years of Business Development and/or Account Executive experience - experience in high-transaction sales preferred.
Proven track record of being a consistent top sales performer - experience in the MarTech space a plus.
1+ years of team lead and/or management experience, a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience, a Bachelor’s degree or above a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
