Job Summary:

U.S. Grounds Maintenance is seeking a reliable and licensed Chemical Applicator to join our team. This role involves the safe and effective application of herbicides, pesticides, and other chemical treatments across various landscapes, including federal property at Offutt Air Force Base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply herbicides and pesticides in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations


• Operate application equipment safely and maintain it in good working condition


• Identify weeds, pests, and diseases and determine appropriate chemical solutions


• Maintain accurate application and chemical use records


• Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and site personnel


• Ensure safety protocols and environmental standards are followed

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Chemical Applicator’s License (State of Nebraska or able to obtain)


• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record


• Ability to qualify for and obtain a Contractor Badge to access Offutt Air Force Base


• Strong understanding of safety procedures and chemical handling


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience applying chemicals in a commercial or government setting


• Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) principles

Familiarity with military or federal job site requirements
