Commercial Concrete Foreman

Innovative Concrete, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Concrete Foreman to lead our team on various commercial construction projects. In this critical role, you will oversee the entire concrete finishing process, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Your expertise in concrete applications will guide the team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence.

As the Concrete Foreman, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, providing hands-on supervision to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety practices, and coordinating workflows with the Project Manager and General Superintendent,. Your leadership will help develop a skilled crew as you strive for perfection in every project we undertake.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate tasks of concrete finishers and laborers on job sites.
• Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to assign roles and responsibilities effectively.
• Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Implement safety procedures and promote a safety-first culture within the team.
• Conduct regular inspections of work, tools, and equipment to ensure proper operation and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors regarding project progress and challenges.
• Assist in creating/submitting RFIs with input from the Project Manager, Superintendent and Project Engineer.
• Lead training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress updates.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of materials and supplies for projects.
• Resolve on-site issues and conflicts efficiently to minimize project delays.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete finishing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete tools, equipment, techniques, and safety practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
