Responsibilities:
Estimating: Conduct thorough and accurate estimates for various commercial construction projects, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive bids, considering material costs, labor expenses, equipment, and other relevant factors. Collaborate with the bidding team to submit compelling and well-structured proposals.
Cost Analysis: Analyze project costs, identify potential cost-saving measures, and provide recommendations to enhance project profitability.
Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes for materials and services, ensuring the selection of reliable and cost-effective partners.
Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the Philadelphia construction market. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to gather relevant information and ensure accurate project estimations.
Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of project estimates, bids, and relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
OSHA 30 certification is required.
Valid driver's license is mandatory, as the successful candidate will be working in the Philadelphia market.
Familiarity with the Philadelphia construction market and local building codes is essential.
