Position Overview


We’re currently hiring a Commercial Electrician to support electrical work at our Richland, WA facility. This is a full-time, temporary position focused on commercial and industrial work, including panel building, conduit installation, and rough/finish wiring. You’ll work under the direction of our Electrical Administrator and/or Facility Manager to support ongoing projects across fabrication, facilities, and R&D spaces.


Compensation is commensurate with experience.



Key Responsibilities



  • Perform electrical work under the direction of the Electrical Administrator and/or Facility Manager.

  • Follow electrical prints, travelers, and work plans to complete tasks safely and accurately.

  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other technical specifications.

  • Ensure drawings and specifications align with the intended environment and function.

  • Provide material take-offs for electrical equipment in accordance with NEC Code and project requirements.

  • Construct electrical control panels and fabricated components as needed.

  • Complete rough and finish wiring of buildings.

  • Bend and install conduit.

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues involving instrumentation, valves, pumps, motors, and other equipment.



Required Qualifications



  • At least 3 years of experience as an electrician performing commercial work

  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment

  • Familiarity with job site and client-specific safety protocols

  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and critical thinking

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks



Preferred Qualifications



  • Journeyman Electrician with valid Washington State certification

  • Will also consider Electrician Trainees enrolled in an accredited training program
