Position Overview
We are hiring Commercial Electricians at both the apprentice and journeyman level for full-time work across active commercial construction and tenant improvement projects throughout Southern California. Project environments include retail spaces, condominiums and multi-family residential, K–12 schools, hospitals, and other institutional settings. Whether you are building your skills or bringing years of field experience, this is a team that invests in its people and runs organized, well-managed projects. State licensure is not required to apply, though it is viewed favorably.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across commercial environments including retail, multi-family, educational, and healthcare facilities
Perform new construction, retrofit, and tenant improvement electrical work
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues accurately and efficiently
Ensure all work meets NEC standards, local building codes, and jobsite safety requirements
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to keep work on schedule and on budget
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Contribute to a professional, safety-first jobsite culture
Required Qualifications
Apprentice level: Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program, or equivalent hands-on commercial field experience
Journeyman level: Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical field experience
Working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Reliable transportation, hand tools, and full PPE
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment
Availability to work flexible hours or occasional weekends as project demands require
California state electrician license or certification is a plus but not required
