Job Description - Commercial Field Service Manager, Utility Northern CA
Tesla is seeking an experienced and dynamicField Managertoprovidetechnicians/electricianswith training opportunities, manageschedules, followup on open cases,actively monitorfleets, andfulfillpreventative maintenance obligations. The Field Manager will be responsible formost, if not all, post-installationresponsibilities andservice work as it relates toperformance and system uptime with the support of associated engineering and deployment teams.
What You’ll Do
Responsible, together withterritory manager, for the creation, delivery, efficiency, and productivity of the Operation & Maintenance program in the field, both directly and with key partners
Manage Service Technicians/Electricians, set schedules and priorities to aid in the troubleshooting and repair of equipment within assigned region
Be ready to travel for extended periods of time covering multiple locations in respective region with minimal notice
Maintain high levels of communication and feedback within the service organization; prepare daily updates of work completed, problems identified, and future timelines
Exercise discretion and independent judgment while overseeing thefield service workand their successful completion of work orders as they relate to troubleshooting down or underperforming systems
Evaluate the work of technicians and electricians toprovideboth quarterly andyearly performance reviews, provide necessary “on-boarding” and training resources to Field Service Technicians
Control overall regional spend and when needed propose cost effective solutions
What You’ll Bring
Commercial or Utility Scale Industrial Storage experience preferred
5+ years of experience working within maintenance and operations experience working as a manager and 2+yearsof experiencecreating Scopes of Work for maintenance or electrical services
Experience writing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports;with the ability to manage high volume data
Recent training and current certification as required in OSHA / NFPA 70E / Safetyexperience with PV systemspreferred
Strong Case Management skills and familiarity with ticketing systems such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred
Excellent computer skills especiallyusing Excel, Outlook, and Word
Valid Driver's License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
