Schedule: In-person, Monday through Friday, 40–45 hours weekly (flexible based on workload and bid deadlines)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial HVAC projects


• Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents


• Perform detailed takeoffs for ductwork, piping, and HVAC equipment


• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing for accuracy


• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs


• Collaborate with project managers and field teams during project handoff


• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies


• Maintain organized bid files and documentation


• Track bid results and continuously improve estimating strategies


• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and clients

What We're Looking For:

We welcome both entry-level and experienced Commercial HVAC Estimators.

Entry-Level Candidates:

• Background in HVAC, mechanical systems, or construction (preferred)


• Strong willingness to learn estimating, multi-task, and perform takeoffs


• Basic computer, math, and organizational skills


• Attention to detail with a mindset for success

Experienced Candidates:

• 3–7+ years of commercial HVAC experience (field or estimating)


• Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Estimator or similar role


• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, and mechanical construction

All Candidates Should Have:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills


• Knowledge of state and local mechanical codes


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills


• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines


• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
