About the Role

We’re hiring Commercial HVAC Helpers with 2+ years of experience to join our team. This role is a great fit for someone who already has a foundation in HVAC and wants to gain more hands-on exposure working alongside senior technicians. You’ll assist with maintenance, service, and installations across a wide range of commercial equipment while building the skills needed to advance into a lead technician role.

You’ll work in a variety of environments—including schools, retail facilities, industrial plants, and office buildings—and gain experience with systems such as RTUs, split systems, boilers, and chillers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems under supervision.
  

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections, filter changes, and system performance checks.
  

• Support with equipment installations, retrofits, and changeouts.
  

• Safely handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA guidelines.
  

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in proper condition.
  

• Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from senior technicians.
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service, maintenance, or installation.
  

• Universal EPA Certification (required).
  

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred, not required).
  

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn advanced systems.
  

• Ability to read basic HVAC blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
