Position Overview: Ace Mechanical is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This is a field-based role servicing a wide range of commercial HVAC systems in offices, retail facilities, industrial buildings, and other commercial environments.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on experience, a current EPA Certification, and a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, heat pumps, and split systems.

• Perform routine maintenance and service on HVAC equipment according to manufacturer standards and company procedures.

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within code compliance.

• Accurately document service reports, materials used, and recommendations for repairs.

• Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and commercial clients.

• Maintain and stock service vehicle with required tools and parts.

• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.

• EPA Universal Certification required.

• Strong understanding of HVAC principles, mechanical systems, and controls.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
