As an HVAC-R Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on Commercial HVAC Units and light commercial refrigeration equipment. This will involve maintaining equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level as well as anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies because of analytical information processes and trends.
*This role will require overnight travel 2-3 weeks per month to reach hours and support customer base*
Essential Functions:
Troubleshooting the electronic and electrical components; locating the source of problem
Repair and Preventive Maintenance for Commercial HVAC and Commercial Refrigeration Units
Communication through daily reports, verbal/written communication regularly with store managers, DOC Supervision, and the assigned office administrator
Repair/maintenance troubleshooting skills
Removing defective parts by dismantling devices and replacing them with new replacement parts, using hand and power tools
Adhering to OSHA, E.P.A, DOC, and customer safety regulations and guidelines
Maintaining company vehicle
Effective communication skills in written form
Customer service focused, ability to effectively interact with customer base
Technology expertise, or aptitude to learn company processes and use technology during the workday
Other Duties as Required
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience working with Commercial HVAC Units and light commercial refrigeration equipment
EPA certification required
High school diploma or GED
Ability and desire to be cross-trained in additional equipment for year-round work
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proficiency with MS Office products and advanced Phone Apps
Ability to provide own set of tools
Must be able to travel overnight 2-3 weeks per month
