We’re seeking an experienced and client-focused Commercial Lending Officer to help expand our lending portfolio and support the financial success of local businesses. This role combines relationship development with credit expertise to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs while supporting the bank’s growth goals.

About the Role

As Commercial Lending Officer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships, evaluating credit requests, and managing a strong loan portfolio. You’ll also represent the bank in the local business community, helping to strengthen our reputation as a trusted financial partner. Key Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial lending relationships and expand business opportunities within the community.


• Evaluate loan requests, structure credit facilities, and prepare recommendations in line with the bank’s credit policies.


• Serve as a trusted partner to business clients, offering solutions that support their growth and success.


• Manage and monitor an assigned loan portfolio, ensuring strong credit quality and proactive risk management.


• Collaborate with credit analysts, branch staff, and leadership to ensure efficient loan processing and exceptional service.


• Represent the bank at business and community events to build visibility and trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.


• 3+ years of experience in commercial lending, business banking, or credit analysis.


• Strong knowledge of commercial lending practices, credit risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.


• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships and contribute to business growth.


• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
