Commercial Line Account Manager

Well established independent insurance agency seeking a qualified professional to join our team. The position of Commercial Lines Customer Service Assistant would include assisting account managers with their renewals, endorsements and policy billing.

Responsibilities include: Working closely with account managers and their clients, provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service. This would include working with underwriters, policy changes, submitting claims, billing inquiries, maintain accurate information in agency database.

Requirements: Candidate should be enthusiastic, organized, self- motivated and have the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment. Proficient in Excel and Agency Management Systems. Minimum one year experience in Commercial Lines. Property & Casualty License is not required- salary based on experience. Benefits include fully paid health care, 401k, flexible PTO, paid holidays. Insurance agency looking for a Customer Service professional to work with Agents on commercial lines policy services such as changes, billing, rating and coverages. Answering phones and working with customers over the phone. Responsible for working with Agent in renewing policies and evaluating coverages. Maintain accurate customer information in Insurance Management System and be able to work on insurance company websites.

Experience:

• Customer Service (1 year – required)
• Commercial Insurance (1 year – preferred)
• Excellent verbal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Meet with existing clients about their commercial insurance coverage.
• Manage incoming calls for commercial inquiries
• Assist in changes and other service requests.
• Build communication and rapport with commercial clients.
