Commercial Lines Account Executive

Starkweather & Shepley Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing team. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to clients within the Health & Human Services sector, managing a large and complex book of business while delivering exceptional service, risk management guidance, and insurance expertise.

• Manage and oversee a large, complex book of commercial business focused on Health & Human Services organizations.
• Serve as the primary client relationship manager for key accounts.
• Lead renewal strategy, coverage analysis, and stewardship meetings.
• Identify client exposures and provide proactive risk management recommendations.
• Collaborate with producers, marketing specialists, and carrier partners to develop comprehensive insurance solutions.
• Negotiate coverage terms and pricing with carriers.
• Present renewal and coverage recommendations to clients and prospects.
• Maintain strong client retention through exceptional service and consultative account management.
• Mentor and support Account Managers and other team members as needed.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks impacting the Health & Human Services sector.
