Commercial Lines Insurance Agent | Farmers Insurance District 40
Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for helping businesses protect what matters most? Farmers Insurance District 40 is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Commercial Lines Insurance Agent to join our high-performing team and play a key role in expanding our commercial client base.
In this role, you’ll focus on selling tailored commercial insurance solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. From prospecting new clients to closing deals and providing long-term support, you’ll help business owners manage risk and achieve peace of mind—while growing a thriving book of business for yourself.

Prospect and acquire new business clients through networking, referrals, and outreach
Conduct risk assessments and provide customized commercial insurance solutions
Present and sell a broad portfolio of commercial products including General Liability, Commercial Property, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and more
Build strong, consultative relationships with business owners and decision-makers
Manage a pipeline of commercial leads and close new business consistently
Provide exceptional post-sale service and account management to retain and grow clients
Stay current on underwriting guidelines, industry trends, and competitor offerings
Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and performance targets
We’re looking for a proactive and confident sales professional who thrives in a competitive, goal-oriented environment.
2+ years of experience in insurance sales, B2B sales, or commercial account management
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to understand business risks and tailor coverage recommendations accordingly
Active P&C license required; Commercial Lines experience strongly preferred
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
