We’re Brown Insurance Services – a respected, family-owned independent agency with over 50 years of service in Florida. We’re growing and looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Marketer to help us place new business, strengthen carrier relationships, and deliver value to our commercial clients.

What You’ll Do:

✅ Market and place new business with appropriate commercial carriers based on risk appetite and client needs
✅ Prepare and submit insurance applications, supplemental forms, statements of values, and proposals
✅ Negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage with underwriters and carriers
✅ Collaborate with producers to understand risk profiles and tailor marketing strategies
✅ Maintain organized records in our management system and document all marketing activity
✅ Identify cross-sell opportunities and help grow the agency book of business
✅ Provide timely follow-up, exceptional communication, and superior service to carriers, clients, and internal            teams
✅ Quote and place lines including:

• General Liability

• Commercial Property

• Builder’s Risk

• Workers’ Comp

• Commercial Auto

• Professional Liability

• Construction Wraps & Non-Wraps
   

What We’re Looking For:

🎯 2+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience (Marketing or Underwriting preferred)
🎯 Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
🎯 Solid negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
🎯 Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple submissions at once
🎯 Experience with agency management systems (Applied Epic, TAM, or similar)
🎯 Excellent written and verbal communication
🎯 Active 2-20 or 4-40 License required
