Job Description - Commercial Litigation Attorney

I am currently working with a leading law firm with a strong national presence, who are actively looking to recruit a

commercial litigation attorney

to join their growing

Chicago

office.

Responsibilities:
This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex commercial litigation cases.
Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations.
Communicate with opposing counsel and clients.
Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings.

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
3+ years of commercial litigation experience.
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
