Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Offit Kurman, a growing full-service firm, is seeking to hire a litigation paralegal for its Los Angeles office. Ideal candidates will possess 3 or more years of experience working as a litigation paralegal. The paralegal will assist during all phases of the litigation process, from investigating claims, initiation of a case, discovery, through trial.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and organize the intake of discovery-related requests and documents.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic files and databases.
• Prepare and draft a variety of discovery-related documents.
• Maintain detailed and well-organized discovery docket.
• Interact with clients and outside counsel.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting litigation practice.
• Excellent organizational skills and prior experience maintaining detailed dockets and databases.
• Experience performing independent research and working with various research tools.
• Ability to expertly manage and prioritize a high volume of deadline driven work.

We will require a person to start in the office daily. After a trial period of 90 days, we expect 4 days in office, 1 day remote.
