The Commercial Loan Documentation Manager oversees the preparation of accurate loan documents for various commercial loans, including C & I, construction, both owner and non-owner-occupied commercial real estate and SBA loans. This role ensures efficient collateral perfection and closing processes for the bank's Commercial and Government Guaranteed lending divisions. The manager leads a team, monitors loan documentation progress, ensures compliance with credit policies and regulations, and communicates with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include ordering and reviewing title work, due diligence reports, and insurance documents, negotiating loan documents, and managing team performance.
Location requirement: Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Juris Doctor; or equivalent experience.
2. 5-7 years of experience in loan documentation, specializing in commercial loans.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and proprietary banking systems.
4. Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation requirements and bank regulations.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
