Commercial Loan Officer

Examines, evaluates, authorizes or recommends approval of applications for Commercial Loans.

• Seek potential loan customers in the community of the bank
• Interview applicants and obtains required information for commercial loan applications
• Input loan requests into LoanVantage lending software
• Correspond with or interview applicant or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information
• Evaluates potential customer loan requests and/or make loan recommendations to loan committee for approval
• Ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy
• Analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for loans
• Manages delinquent accounts to minimize loss exposure which could include repossessing collateral and assists branch with collection of overdrawn deposit accounts as needed
• Become an active member of civic organizations and/or clubs on behalf of the bank
