Based in the Capital Region (Albany and Surrounding Areas)
Hiring range for this position: $85,807.98 to $107,259.98 annually. Actual pay will depend on experience.
Eligible for Substantial Quarterly Bonuses. 2026 On Track Earning of over $80,000 in bonuses!

As a Commercial Loan Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting local businesses by providing strategic lending solutions that help entrepreneurs grow, innovate, and succeed. What You’ll Do Business Development & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective business members.
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
- Conduct outreach and sales calls to identify opportunities and grow relationships.
Commercial Lending & Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial statements and business performance data.
- Recommend customized lending solutions to meet business goals.
- Gather and evaluate information needed to support underwriting decisions.
Portfolio Management
- Manage an assigned portfolio of commercial lending relationships.
- Monitor member financial performance and evolving capital needs.
- Maintain strong portfolio quality while balancing growth and risk.
Cross-Selling & Business Solutions
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional AmeriCU products and services.
- Connect members with deposit accounts, cash management solutions, merchant services, insurance, and wealth management resources.
- Help drive additional value for members through comprehensive financial solutions.
SBA Lending Expertise
- Serve as a resource on SBA lending programs, including SBA 7(a).
- Stay current on SBA guidelines and lending requirements.
- Help business members access financing solutions that support growth.
Community Engagement & Team Collaboration
- Represent AmeriCU at community events, industry organizations, and networking opportunities.
- Build referral partnerships and centers of influence within the market.
- Support teammate development through knowledge sharing, coaching, and collaboration.
