Commercial Loan Processor

POSITION SUMMARY

Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for processing, boarding, funding, post-close servicing, and maintaining physical documentation of new loans. Works in conjunction with the Commercial Loan Specialists and Commercial team to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documentation. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Loan Document Preparation

• Collaborate with Commercial Loan Specialist to ensure accuracy of loan document information. 
• Compile, prepare and process commercial, agricultural, and consumer loan file documents for review and approval.
• Inputs new loan information into the computer; maintains tracking log; and assigns loan number as needed.
• Verify and maintain accuracy of loan input data on the bank’s core system.

Post-Close Servicing

• Verify proper signed documentation has been received and complete loan funding. 
• Distribute loan proceeds/advances and record liens and collateral documents.
• Manage critical documents including but not limited too; original signed note, security agreements and verify they are properly filed and cataloged.

Loan Filing

• Scan, catalog, and verify original loan documents in internal bank computer filing system.
• Maintain internal banking computer filing system to ensure files and proper documentation are up to date and current. 

Other

• Assist Commercial Loan Administration as assigned. 
• Completes a variety of commercial projects as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associate’s degree required or equivalent work experience 
• Minimum of one (1) years of experience in similar job duties
