Position Summary

AB Facility Services is seeking a hands-on Commercial Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across commercial client locations. This role is ideal for a well-rounded maintenance professional with approximately 3+ years of HVAC experience and strong skills in general building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other repairs.

The ideal candidate is comfortable performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting building systems, and working independently while delivering high-quality service to commercial clients. Travel between client sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs on commercial HVAC systems and equipment.


• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues.


• Perform general handyman repairs, including carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, and other building components.


• Complete preventive maintenance and respond to service requests in a timely manner.


• Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs or additional service needs.


• Travel between assigned commercial client locations as needed.


• Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.


• Maintain professional communication and customer service at all client locations.


• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable building codes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC and/or commercial building maintenance experience.


• Hands-on experience performing HVAC maintenance and basic troubleshooting.


• Strong general maintenance skills with experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs.


• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of commercial building systems.


• Comfortable performing both HVAC-related work and general handyman/maintenance duties.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


• HVAC certification is preferred.


• OSHA certification is a plus.
