Commercial Painter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Commercial Painters for projects located in or around Buffalo, NY. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24–$28/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Painter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:    

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
• Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brush, roller, and airless sprayers
• Perform drywall repairs, skim coating, and finish touch-ups
• Mask and protect surrounding surfaces to ensure clean, professional results
• Read and follow project specifications and finish schedules
• Safely work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of solid commercial painting experience
• Strong surface preparation and finish work skills
• Experience with brush, roller, and airless spray application
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Own basic painter hand tools
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening as required

Preferred Experience:

• New construction and commercial renovation projects
• Drywall patching and skim coating
• Experience operating scissor lifts or boom lifts
• Epoxy or specialty coating experience is a plus
