Commercial Rack Refrigeration Level 2 Technician

Description

Kalos Services is seeking skilled and experienced Commercial Rack Refrigeration Level 2 Technicians  for project work and service. Our technicians primarily operate within supermarket environments, working on various types of equipment including walk-in refrigeration units, reach-in refrigeration units, glass door cases and rack refrigeration systems.

 Schedule: This position will require travel, overnight hotel stays and a combination of days and nights. Kalos pays for travel time and hotel stays for our employees.  

Compensation:  $28/hour  -  $33/hour

Requirements

• Exhibit a sense of urgency and care for customers' products.
• Positively impact the community through high-stakes work
• Change out, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems.
• Understand and manage processes unique to large-scale refrigeration, including:
• Oil management
• Refrigerant retrofits
• EMS/BAS systems

Specific Requirements:

• 3 years minimum experience with Supermarket Refrigeration is a requirement or 3 years of hvac experience as an alternative to supermarket experience.
• Basic computer literacy skills
• An EPA 608 Type 1 and 2 or Universal
• Previous technical/mechanical experience in another industry, whether it’s from a previous job or a hobby
• Customer service 
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English (bi-lingual is a plus) 
• The ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly with or without an accommodation
• Comfortable with climbing ladders and scaffolding
